概要
Odds 96 is a sports betting and casino service built for India. We designed its website and mobile versions for every screen size, connected payments, made a separate version for players in Nigeria and built a large design system to hold it all together.
Challenge
Design the website and the mobile versions of a betting service and plug in payment systems, for an Indian audience first and then for Nigeria.
Approach
The product has two halves, sport and casino, and both had to work from a 360 px phone to a 1920 px desktop. Key pages were drawn for up to nine screen sizes.
Sport and casino on every screen
The sport home with top leagues and the most placed bets, live betting with money line, total and handicap, the casino with categories, a game page, the full catalogue and a filter by provider, plus the betslip with open bets and cash-out.
Mobile
Money in two currencies
Money flows were designed in detail: choosing a payment method, deposits and withdrawals, balances for real money and bonuses, and transaction history. The screens work in rupees and in naira, and the payment list includes Nigerian options such as Quickteller, OPay and USSD transfers through GTBank and UBA.
A design system to hold it together
To keep a product this size consistent we built ODA, the Odds 96 design system: colour scales, shadows and opacity, spacing and corner rules, icons and two type sets, split into separate libraries. We also managed and refined the product for a year.
Outcome
The work raised conversion and helped the service enter the Nigerian market.
