Taller is a premium class A business cluster in Moscow's Paveletsky business district, built by the developer COLDY. We designed its smart home app for tenants, the brand guidebook and the project website.
Challenge
The building is packed with technology: Face ID entry, touch turnstiles, smart navigation, licence plate recognition, its own data centre, lighting that follows the time of day, climate and air quality control. Tenants needed one app for all of it, and the cluster needed a brand and a website that match its premium position.
Approach
The brief for everything was premium minimalism: clean lines and a restrained look that suits the audience and reflects the status of the business cluster.
Tenant app
The app opens with a short onboarding about Taller and COLDY, then splits into four sections: smart office, analytics, services and profile. In the smart office a tenant controls every device by touch or by voice: electrochromic glass, blinds and roller shades, colour lighting, climate and smart plugs. Analytics shows attendance, rent and resource use. Services cover guest passes, space in the building's data centre and service requests. There is a meeting room view, scenarios, a paid subscription and a dark and a light theme.
Marka
The guidebook sets the Taller wordmark and the TR monogram, an arched graphic element, a palette of greys, browns, cream and near-black, the Formular typeface, a photo style and a typographic grid. Then it shows the brand on a billboard, web banners, a roll-up, notebooks, a presentation, a document folder, a paper bag and a leather laptop sleeve.
