An internal platform for the car-loan division of a global automaker. Staff file loan applications, choose the car and trim, calculate the loan and extra financial services, check the client and keep every document in one place.
Challenge
The division needed one platform, on desktop and mobile, where loan data, applications and client checks are structured and easy to work with.
Approach
Everything starts from the application list, with filters by dealer, status, car type and dates on top and every application showing where it is, from data check to approval or refusal. The interface is black and white with one red accent for actions.
An application, step by step
Inside an application the work goes in steps: application data, the client questionnaire, documents, financial parameters and related applications. A new application begins with the model and trim, then a calculator for the loan and the extra financial services.
Checks and documents
If something about a client looks wrong, the manager flags them as suspicious and describes what they noticed, and the documents tab keeps a history of every status change. A knowledge base helps staff, and the key screens also come in a larger-type version.
Outcome
The platform improved the division's internal processes, cut the time spent on managing applications and raised staff productivity.
